Residents Flee As Boko Haram Attacks Four Villages In Borno

Members of the dreaded Boko Haram terrorist group on Saturday night attacked several communities of Hawul and Shaffa Local Government Areas of Borno State.
The invaders reportedly came in their dozens to lunch a coordinated attack on Tashan Alade, Shaffa, and Khiributu Debiro, Tirgitu villages in the two local governments.
Sources revealed that hundreds of the villagers had to flee their homes as the insurgents continue to shoot sporadically looting food items, and setting houses ablaze.
According to a vigilante source, the fleeing villagers are said to be taking refuge in the nearby bushes.
According to reports, the old and the sick are feared to be stuck in the mayhem.
